What are your scholastic and/or career ambitions? To obtain a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from East Carolina University to eventually pursue a career as an Athletic Trainer in the NFL.

 

Community Service Initiative (CSI): Project Purple: Advocating for Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

 

What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? My CSI is Project Purple: Advocating for Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. I started my CSI at the age of 9 after seeing how much my mother had gone through since being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. Over the years I have raised over $5,000 for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America and over the course of my reign as Miss Statesville’s Teen I hope to raise at least $1,000 for research and funding of these diseases. 

 

What are some interesting facts about you?

I have been involved in this organization since the age of 8. 

President Obama has called my family.

My favorite celebrity is Zendaya.

 

What do you enjoy doing for fun? I love spending time practicing with my HS Dance Team, or at the dance studio, reading, and watching movies.
